Hi, I’m Zion. I’m seven years old and will be in the second grade this upcoming school year. My family moved to Redlands, CA from Rex, GA last year. Since I’ve been here, I’ve met a lot of cool people and visited a lot of really neat places. I love to read, write stories, cheer, and go on adventures with my family.

I once read an article written by the late Anthony Bourdain where he declared, “locals dine during the week”. The admired chef went on to reveal that the weekends were considered “amateur nights for the tourists and well-done-ordering pre theater hordes,” in reference to how some guests indecently ordered their steaks overcooked. Tween Brothers Strike Again (Family Travel Guide)

Our family of four, including two boys 12 and 13, returned to Redlands for a wedding, a funeral and some much needed time with our west coast family! We had our usual spots that we wanted to visit; Cheesewalla, El Burrito, A Store Called Quest, etc. But when the weather in Baltimore kept us in Redlands for three extra days, we managed to make the most of it by enjoying more of what Redlands has to offer including, a La Minute and did I mention Cheesewalla?
