The Energy Lab

  • The Energy Lab is not your ordinary gym. We are a health and fitness studio, offering personal training, small group training, and innovative and integrative core fitness classes, including TRX suspension trainer, Pilates, CycleOps Cycling classes, FitCore, HoopCore - hula hooping, and Foam Roller Restoration and Rejuvenation classes. We specialize in functional core fitness training and wellness from the inside out! We offer Bootcamp Events, Cooking Classes, Kids Classes, parties, meditation and relaxation. Redlands Aikikai

Redlands Aikikai is a martial & meditative arts studio that offers instruction in Aikido, Kendo, Tai Chi, Yoga and Kids Art. Our primary goal is to provide an environment where our practitioners develop high levels of skill, compassion, character and health and to maintain these throughout their lives. 951-743-5942 website

  • First class free for Aikido! Mondays at 6:30 to 7:30, Tuesdays 7:10 to 8:10 & Thursdays 7:10 to 8:10, try a class for free. Just wear loose comfortable workout clothing, and come on down!
  • 12 Week Tai Chi Session starts Tuesday, April 3. Signup anytime to reserve your spot!! Fundamental tai chi, every Tuesday from 6:00pm to 7:00pm; Applications Tai Chi every Tuesday from 7:00 to 8:00pm.

University of Redlands

  • Yoga, led by Ian Wittenmyer and Pat Gearyv. Mondays, 8:30-9:30 am - Meditation Room Free Community Class Yoga, led by Ian Wittenmyer and Pat Geary Mondays, 8:30-9:30 am Description: This relaxed style of practice fosters a sense of connection with the present moment by placing emphasis on linking breath and movement. This class is for all levels. All of our classes are free and open to students, faculty, staff, and the community. For more information about the Meditation Room and a map to campus, visit our webpage here. The Meditation Room is located in Larsen Hall, room 210. We encourage you to arrive early to secure a spot in the Wed. p.m. classes. If a session is in progress when you arrive, you are welcome to join quietly, **UNLESS you see the FULL sign on the doorknob.   • Buddhist Insight Meditation, led by Valerie Cusson Thursdays beginning Jan. 9, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Description: This Community Meditation Group includes a 20-30 minute guided meditation practice, Dharma teaching and opportunities for discussion. The class is suitable for all levels of meditation experience; beginners are especially welcome. This is a chance to come together and practice meditation, open our hearts and minds, and create a safe and welcoming community where all feel seen and heard. No experience necessary. Drop-in format.   • Kriya Hatha Yoga, led by ArmoundMahmoudi Sundays, Year-round, 5:00-6:00 pm The main objective of this class is to introduce a student to 18 particularly effective postures which have the ability to induce a deep physical and mental relaxation. Through practicing these postures the student will also have the opportunity to heal their body from many disorders and irregularities. The postures are taught in stages and the class is meant for mix level students who have the chance to do the postures to their best abilities. Tours & Outings

Workshops for Quilters

We offer monthly workshops with visiting experts in various aspects of quilting. Each 6 hour workshop is $30. Non members are welcome. Church of the Nazarene, 1307 E. Citrus Ave., Redlands, CA. See our website for more information and contact form. The last Thursday each month except Nov. and Dec. 9 am to 3 pm.
