AAUW Redlands Branch Meeting with Dinner & Bone Health Program

Join AAUW Redlands for a dinner branch meeting featuring “Boning Up on Bone Health” on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. The speaker will be Susan Hall, MD, PhD, MPH, a physician who has dedicated her career to the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. “A decrease in bone density is a natural condition of aging,” Hall says, “but one that can have devastating consequences. While all fractures are painful, hip fractures and compression fractures of the spine, in particular, can result in devastating health outcomes, such as hospitalization or death due to complications as well as lifelong chronic pain and loss of independence.” She will cover preventive measures and treatments, and how they slow down the processes related to developing osteoporosis. Branch meetings are held at the University of Redlands, Casa Loma Room. Social at 5:15 pm, dinner at 6 pm, and the music begins at 6:45 pm. Dinner is $35. People can also come to listen to the program for free.
