Kids Nature Club Goes to the Pond

On Sunday, March 15, Kids Nature Club will visit Beverley's Pond in San Timoteo Nature Sanctuary to explore the amazing life in and around the pond. Teacher Leslie Scofield will guide the kids, ages 3 to 7, as they witness how plants and animals benefit from the pond. Kids will also do a "test" for water quality that doesn't involve drinking it. Kids Nature Club is one of Redlands Conservancy's Outdoor Experience Programs.

It is free and open to the public. The March 15 event starts at 9:30 for sign-in, with the program starting at 9:45. Beverley's Pond is located next to San Timoteo Canyon Road between the west end of Fern Avenue and the bridge. There will be a toilet on site, but kids' adults should bring their own water bottle.
