Trails at 10

Two guided hikes are scheduled for October's Trails at 10 Series of Hikes on Redlands' public trails. On Saturday, October 19, at 10 A.M., hikers will visit San Timoteo Nature Sanctuary, West for a visit to the newly-restored Beverley's Pond and a moderate 2.5-mile hike to the Lookout Point. Safe parking for this hike is located at the parking area on San Timoteo Canyon Road between Fern Avenue and the bridge - follow the directions to the safe parking area inside the sanctuary.

On Saturday, October 26, at 10 A.M., Redlands' newest trail will be the destination. The Zanja Trail and Greenway West is now open for trail users. We will gather on 9th Street between Redlands Blvd and the railroad tracks, take Zanja Trail to Church Street, then wind our way to Sylvan Park before we return to the trailhead. Both hikes are free and open to the public. Children are encouraged, and leashed dogs are welcomed.
