About the play Just in time for All Hallows Eve, Footlighters presents an evening of Edgar Allen Poe’s haunting poetry and macabre stories brought to life by an ensemble cast. Thrilling favorite tales interwoven with poetic gems of mystery and longing create a powerful and atmospheric drama. Poe (1809–1849) is popularly known for his short stories and inventive tales of detection, science fiction, and horror. This Footlighters original production, adapted and directed by Katharine Buffy Henshaw, celebrates the collected works of one of America’s most treasured authors. Performance extras include an Opening Night Gala on October 11 as well as a "Talk Back" discussion with director and cast after the Saturday matinee on October 26. Individual tickets are $20 for adults, $14 students with ID, and $17 for groups of 10 or more.
