Twilight Jam at the Asistencia - Prairie Sunset Band

The Prairie Sunset Band has been performing in the Inland Empire since the 1980’s, for audiences ranging from small restaurants to large festivals, and everything in between. Although they play traditional bluegrass instruments, their eclectic style includes songs from many genres and eras. An Elvis song may lead to 1920’s blues, The Monkees, or Bill Monroe. The band features tasty playing on stringed instruments and lush vocal harmonies to their unique setlist. Founding member Michael Pastucha rocks the mandolin, fingerpicks a National Resophonic Guitar, and often surprises the band with the most fun obscure tunes ever. Peggy Zeigler adds her high lonesome vocals and fantastic Scruggs-style banjo licks to whatever songs the boys throw at her. After playing Fender Precision bass for decades in rock n roll bands, Fontana native Bob Copeland stretches out on his upright bull fiddle. Ray Zeigler throws in some bluesy licks on the acoustic guitar, and occasionally adds some slide to the party. We'll open the gate at 4:15 for those who want to enjoy a picnic before the show. Bring your own refreshments - all we ask is that you carry out what you bring in. Admission for adults is $15 (pre-sale) or $20 (at the gate); children under 12 are admitted free. If you want to reserve a table for your party, please contact Heather Ross (info@redlandsconservancy.org). A 4-person table costs $80 and a 6-person table costs $120. Purchase of a table includes admission for up to 6 or 4 guests, depending on table size. Tables include seating (our chairs accommodate guests up to 250 pounds). You will receive an email confirmation with contact info to share guest names after your purchase. Bring a blanket or chairs for yourself for no additional cost. This is a no-pets event. Please leave Fido at home. No smoking or vaping.
