LIVE Organ Series

First Congregational Church of Redlands is again presenting a Lenten/Easter series of pipe organ concerts on seven Thursday mornings from 11:30 a.m. to noon, beginning April 3.

Dr. Edward Yarnelle has again arranged the schedule of artists and dates, using the Turner pipe organ in the church sanctuary at 2 W. Olive Ave. The public is invited; a freewill donation is available.

Performers and dates are:

• April  3: Tim Ruzon, a student of Dr. Philip Hoch, is a senior at the University of Redlands majoring in music and education. He plans to become a music teacher and church organist.
• April  10: James Stoneman is organist/pianist at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.
• April  17: Dr Ed Yarnelle is currently interim organist/pianist at First Congregational Church.
• April  24: Irmengard Jennings is currently music director/organist at Faith Lutheran Church, Yucaipa. May  1:  Dr Philip Hoch is faculty organist at the University of Redlands and for the Crystal Cathedral Garden Grove.
• May  8:  Dr  Kimo Smith is currently organist/pianist at First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood and at the University Church of Seventh Day Adventists, Loma Linda.
• May 15:  Dr Angelica Prodan  is currently organist/pianist at the Seventh Day Adventist Campus Hill Church in Loma Linda.
