Art-in-the-Park, Celebrating Creativity

The public is invited to attend a lively gathering that celebrates the talent and passion of local artisans, makers, and creators, ART-IN-THE-PARK, which is held the weekend of Memorial Day, May 23 & 24. This event is Redlands’ largest outdoor art and crafts show. The artists display and retail their wares in booths set up around the grounds next to the beautiful and historic A.K. Smiley Library and the Redlands Bowl. Free admission. This will be the 42nd year that the Redlands Art Association has hosted Art-in-the-Park. RAA’s talented artisans bring their creations for your shopping pleasure. There will be something for everyone: jewelry glamor / ceramic handworks – artsy & functional / traditional paintings – oils, pastels, watercolor, and acrylics for your home & office / glass decor / birdhouses for garden & patio / fabric designs / assemblages- 3D compositions / mosaic art / photography of nature’s wonders & mankind’s constructs /origami paintings, etc. All proceeds raised by this event go towards supporting the Redlands Art Association’s mission: Art education for both adults and youth.

In conjunction with Art-n-the-Park is REDLANDS FESTIVAL OF ARTS at the Lincoln Shrine. RFA juries artists from southern California and the western states into the show for even more variety. RFA provides the food trucks with delicious menu choices and refreshing beverages, as well as the Beer & Wine Garden that offers local wine and beer options. And relax and enjoy the talented local musicians around the park.

See the YOUTH ART EXPO, sponsored by the Margaret Clark Art Education Enrichment Fund of the Redlands Art Association. It showcases the creativity of students in our community from Kindergarten through 12th grade. And hands-on art activities will be available for all kids.
