ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE in/vs PHOTOGRAPHY “It’s a blessing and a curse in one nifty package.” —Antti Karppinen, AI-driven visual creator Use of artificial intelligence has emerged as one of the most controversial topics in photography today. On Monday, January 20, Redlands Camera Club will present a program meant to inform and challenge photographers. Lecturer, instructor and professional photographer Rick Hulbert will look at the upsides and downsides of AI technology from the perspectives of both photographer and lay viewer, and consider the evolving thoughts regarding AI’s impact on the art of photography. This free Zoom-only presentation begins at 7pm Monday, January 20.
