Redlands Farmers Markets

There’s something special about shopping local in Redlands. Whether you're browsing fresh produce on a Saturday morning, hunting for vintage treasures on a Friday night, or discovering handmade gifts from talented local makers, our community markets offer something for everyone. Beyond the food, shopping, and unique finds, these markets bring neighbors together and give small businesses a chance to shine.

Olive Avenue Market

If you’ve spent any time around Olive Avenue Market, you probably already know it’s more than just a place to grab a coffee and pastries. The local shop has become a gathering place for the Redlands community, and tucked into its schedule are two very different markets that give locals another reason to stop by.

Sunday Mornings at OAM

The Sunday Morning Market started a few years ago with a simple goal: create a space where local vendors could connect with the community and support one another.

After participating in other markets and seeing vendor fees continue to climb, the market's organizer wanted to create something different: a market designed to support young and growing businesses rather than simply profit from them.

That philosophy is reflected in the market's vendor fee. Instead of charging a traditional flat booth fee, vendors pay 10% of their sales, meaning they never pay more in fees than they actually make at the market. It's a small detail that says a lot about what the market is trying to accomplish.

The Sunday market is intentionally intimate, and that has become one of its strengths. Rather than vendors simply arriving, setting up a booth, and leaving, the smaller size gives them an opportunity to actually get to know one another and build relationships. And for shoppers, that means the market feels less like an overwhelming shopping trip and more like a Sunday morning outing.

The setting certainly helps. With outdoor seating and a peaceful, quaint atmosphere, it's easy to grab a coffee, wander through the vendors, and stay awhile. You'll often find locals out for their morning walks, including plenty of four-legged Redlands residents who can make a pit stop for an OAM dog treat.

The vendor lineup changes throughout the month, so there's always something new to discover while a few familiar favorites keep people coming back. Regulars include a stuffed waffle vendor, a sourdough baker, and a local dog groomer, alongside rotating makers and small businesses.

The market focuses on handmade goods, art, locally sourced products, and businesses that are building something of their own. Vendors go through an application process, and the market looks for properly licensed businesses from Redlands and the surrounding communities. One of the coolest developments is that the relationship between OAM and its market vendors doesn't necessarily end when Sunday does.

Inside the shop, Planet Olive features a collection of local vendors and gives shoppers another opportunity to discover small businesses while they're there. OAM recently launched the retail space inside the shop where participating market vendors can sell their products throughout the week. For young businesses, getting into a brick-and-mortar storefront can be a major step, giving them another way to reach customers beyond a single market day.

Friday Nights Go Vintage

The OAM Vintage Market runs Fridays from 5 – 9 PM, bringing together a curated group of vintage vendors offering everything from clothing to CDs and vinyl. The storefront itself stays open late on Fridays, making it easy to grab something from the market and continue browsing inside.

You'll typically find around 7 – 12 vendors, with the lineup changing regularly. The goal isn't to fill the space with as many vendors as possible, but to keep the selection specialized and make browsing easy. And that's part of the fun. You can come one Friday, find something you love, and return the following week to discover an entirely different selection.

The market also has a strong focus on vintage clothing and sustainability. Rather than spending $50 online on something mass-produced, the idea is to encourage people to shop secondhand, give clothing another life, and find pieces with a little more personality. There's even a free clothing rack that vendors contribute to, giving shoppers another way to participate in the spirit of reuse and recycling.

The Friday market also has a few seasonal events on the calendar, including a Spooky Market in October and a holiday market during the holiday season, along with special promotions throughout the year.

For those interested in joining the vintage market as a vendor, OAM is currently looking for more vendors who fit its vintage-focused curation. The emphasis is on people who genuinely care about what they're selling and the culture surrounding vintage. If you can’t make it on a Friday night and you’re still looking for the same vintage vibes, the main vendor just opened up a storefront near Jersey’s Pizza downtown.

While the Sunday and Friday markets have completely different personalities, they share the same goal: bringing people together and creating space for local businesses to grow. Whether you're grabbing coffee and a scone on a Sunday morning or digging through vintage racks on Friday night, OAM offers a chance to discover something new while supporting the people who make our community unique.

So come hungry, bring your shopping bag, and maybe bring the dog too; there's always something worth discovering at Olive Avenue Market.

Made with Love in Redlands

There’s something special about a market where you can actually feel the time and care that went into what you’re buying. That’s exactly the idea behind Made With Love Redlands, a seasonal handmade market that has been bringing local makers together for the past eight years.

Held four times a year in Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter, Made With Love has become one of Redlands’ longest-running seasonal markets. Rather than being a weekly market, its seasonal schedule gives each event a little more anticipation and gives shoppers a reason to come back throughout the year.

The goal is to bring together a variety of vendors while keeping each market feeling fresh and seasonal. There are a few familiar vendors who return throughout the year, but the organizers are always looking for new businesses and makers to add something different to the mix.

And there’s plenty to browse. The market focuses on handmade goods and homemade products, with vendors offering unique finds that you aren't likely to see at a traditional retail store. It's the kind of place where you can wander from booth to booth, discover a new local maker, and maybe leave with something you didn't know you were looking for, like a custom and handmade ice cream scooper made from 100-year-old cedar.

Of course, no market is complete without something good to eat. Made With Love also brings together homemade baked goods and coffee, making it easy to grab a treat and take your time exploring. That handmade element is really at the heart of the market. In a world where it can be easier than ever to order something online and have it show up at your door, Made With Love creates an opportunity to meet the people behind the products and support small businesses right here in the community.

And because the market changes with the seasons, there’s always a reason to come back. Spring brings its own lineup, summer has its own feel, and the fall and holiday markets give shoppers a chance to find something special as the seasons change.

The Christmas market is especially well-timed for holiday shoppers, taking place Thanksgiving weekend, just in time to start checking a few names off your gift list while supporting local makers.

After eight years, Made With Love has become a seasonal tradition for shoppers and vendors alike, creating a space where handmade goods, homemade treats, and local businesses can all come together.

Grove Farmers Market

If your ideal Saturday morning involves fresh produce, good food, a little live music, and plenty of reasons to linger, the Grove Farmers Market is worth adding to your weekend routine. Bring your reusable bags, because you're probably going to find more than you planned to take home.

Held every Saturday from 8 AM to 12 PM, the Grove Farmers Market brings together local farmers, food vendors, makers, and small businesses for a market that feels like a little Saturday-morning community gathering.

Of course, the fresh food is the star of the show. Shoppers can find seasonal produce along with avocados, citrus, microgreens, mushrooms, honey, and more. There’s also plenty for those looking to stock up on homemade and locally made staples, including jams, olive oils, hot sauces, fresh pastries, Village Bread, and other baked goods.

And if you’re hungry while you shop, you’re definitely in luck. The market offers a surprisingly wide variety of prepared food, from tamales and Mediterranean food to freshly caught seafood, hummus, mini pancakes, French macarons, and refreshing agua frescas. There’s even kefir for anyone looking to add something a little different to their morning routine.

But Grove isn’t only about groceries. Alongside the farmers and food vendors, you’ll find handmade pottery, natural soaps, handmade gifts, crystals, vinyl records, and other unique finds. It’s the kind of market where you can come with a grocery list and still end up wandering through booths because something catches your eye. Families can make a morning of it, too. There’s a kids' play area with games and a Craft Zone, giving little shoppers something to do while parents browse. The market is also dog-friendly, with sweet treats available to purchase for your four-legged companions.

A seating area gives visitors a place to stop and enjoy their food, and live music adds to the relaxed Saturday atmosphere. Grab some breakfast, listen to a little music, let the kids play, and take your time exploring the vendors.

With its combination of fresh produce, homemade food, local makers, and family-friendly activities, Grove Farmers Market feels like more than a place to pick up your groceries. It’s a Saturday morning outing and a pretty delicious one at that.

Rare Market

If you like markets where you never quite know what you're going to find, RARE Market is one to put on your list. Held outside Redlands Public Market, RARE brings together a colorful mix of local makers and small businesses, with everything from sweet treats and handmade goods to jewelry, artwork, and plenty of fun, unexpected finds.

You can start with something to eat, maybe a cake pop, specialty popcorn, sourdough bread, or other homemade baked goods, and then work your way through the vendor lineup. For the handmade crowd, there’s plenty to browse. You'll find natural soaps and incense, permanent jewelry, other jewelry vendors, crystals, custom keychains, custom cups, and original artwork. There are even vendors offering custom nurse badges, making this a fun stop for those looking for something personalized rather than mass-produced.

And then there are the things you probably didn't know you needed until you saw them: make-your-own fidget toys, glitter tattoos, an artist doing live sketches, and custom pieces made right at the market. That's part of what makes RARE fun; there isn't really one category that defines it. It's a little food market, a little craft fair, a little art show, and a little treasure hunt all rolled into one.

And RARE isn't just a one-time stop. They host several markets throughout the month at different locations, so there's always another opportunity to discover new vendors, shop local, and see what each market has in store. Markets run from 5–10 PM, making it a fun evening stop whether you're looking for a sweet treat, a unique gift, or just something new to discover.

Whether you're stocking up on fresh produce, hunting for vintage treasures, picking up a handmade gift, grabbing a pastry, or simply looking for something fun to do on the weekends, Redlands has no shortage of ways to shop local. Each of these markets has its own personality and lineup, but they all have one thing in common: they give local makers, farmers, bakers, and small businesses a place to share what they do with the community. So grab your reusable bags, bring a friend (and maybe the dog), and make a weekend of it. You never know what you'll discover right here in Redlands.
