The appetizers were outstanding. Bruschetta pomodoro e basilico was more than tasty and the baguette was lightly buttered and flavored with just the perfect hint of garlic. The bread was grilled and melted in your mouth. Not hard and crusty like some of the others. Wes loves calamari and theirs is lightly breaded and served with a light tomato sauce. Yummy!! All of us liked the fried artichoke hearts the best. No one had ever had them before. I would go back just to have them. They are called Carcciofi Fritti. I did not know that all of their soups are vegetarian based. Maybe that is why I saw several of my Adventist friends in there. The pasta fagoli and the minestrone are good and they also have a soup of the day everyday, cream of cauliflower today. The veal was the best I have had in a long time. It is called dama Bianca….more than great. The shrimp scampi (scampi al diavola) was also excellent. I would definitely order it again. The filet medallions (mignon alvino rosso) was so tender you really didn't need a knife. Wes is a meat eater and loved this dish. We also had a pasta dish and we all were crazy for it. It was fettuccine viviana , fresh spinach, sun dried tomatoes, grilled chicken and a splash of pinot grigio- light and very flavorful. We also tried 3 deserts: Tiramisu, Creme Brulee, and Cannolli. Our favorite the Creme Brulee.

The caprese is out of this world. I had two orders of it for dinner, beyond satisfying.

After many years of suffering with mediocre chain restaurant Italian food (Olive Garden, Macaroni Grill, Carinos), we decided to try the mom-n-pop, hole in the wall places. Didn't have much look with those either until we discovered Isabella's. I'll admit, the place is a hole-in-the-wall from the outside... in a strip mall nestled between a pizza joint and a hair salon. However, once inside, it has great ambiance. We were seated immediately and a waiter came to take our drink order before we could even open the menu.

Menu includes your traditional Italian dishes (pasta, chicken, steak, seafood). My wife, who is a picky eater and orders the same thing every time, LOVED the tortellini alla romana and said it's her new favorite dish!

We usually go to Isabella's for fine evening dinning, but today we went for lunch. My normal favorite is Salsiccia Campaniola , but today we tried Pollo Alla Cacciatora and Pollo Madiera. Both were excellent and very satisfying. No room for desert Mushroom soup was excellent as usual as was the pasta sides.
What a joy to have such a fine restaurant nearby. Reading the other reviews whets the appetite to try something different. Everything is so good it's hard to chose.

Isabella’s is my date night, Birthday evening, special treat for when someone special comes to town (like Amber mentioned), or when you've got gnocchi on the brain. I have always had a great experience here and you know when other people from the food service can't find anything to complain about a restaurant then you know it's in high regard! More stars please... they go 5 and beyond!

Hats off to Redlands ! What a fabulous evening! My husband and I checked into the Country Inn and where greeted with a wonderful room. On to Dinner. Words cannot describe the fantastic meal we had at Isabella's - Ruth and our waiter Donaldo Cruz made us feel like royalty. We enjoyed a 5 course meal, and I highly recommend the Cream of Cauliflower soup . We rolled into our room to find a beautiful flower arrangement by The Bloom Room and desert by Doughlectibles.

This was a wonderful evening away from all the stress of the everyday. We would like to give a special thanks to John and Karen Terry who with out this evening would not be possible

Very nice atmosphere. The staff are very courteous and attentive. The food was prepared fresh and tasteful. Great wine list, and specialty martinis. You must go, don't let the fact it is in a strip mall stop you. Once you step inside it is delightful. Reasonably priced for a dressy casual dining restaurant.

Off to dinner at Isabella's where we had a friendly greeting and nothing but the best service and Italian cuisine we have experienced in a very long time. Ruthie and her staff had everything planned for us including various food courses and wine choices. Everything was followed up by two desserts that were absolutely delicious. Kudos to this outstanding restaurant. I hope they will soon be wining awards for offering customers such an exceptional experience.

I didn't know that Corona had restaurants like Isabella's. My only complaint is that the darkened windows always look like they are closed.

The have EXCELLENT food and service. Pretty surprizing since they are next to Stater Brothers. They are a nice little gem of a place and I was happy to see almost a full house on Saturday night.

This was my third or fourth visit. We had: rack of lamb (yum!), pasta pescatoria (shrimp, mussels, etc.), and a dish with spicy chicken and eggplant. Very large servings. All dinners come with soup or salad, and a bread basket. Our bill came to $91.

Support your local indepentent small business person! have a great meal!

Easily the best Italian food in Redlands. From the outside, it looks like a trashy strip mall, but on the inside it's very elegant. Try the Por Pablo if you're the kind of person who likes food that is awesome.

This was the first time I'd been to Isabella's and WOW! I had a business lunch which was perfect because we were sat at a nice big table and had privacy. The BEST part, we had gourmet food and our bill for 3 people was $30!.

I had the fillet in a wine sauce that was so tender I couldn't believe it...if you go ask for the waiter we had that night, Daniel..he made our evening special. Outstanding service and his wine knowledge was impressive and very helpful...We are going to be "Regulars" at this place!!

Great setting, beautiful art, wonderful background music. The aroma of garlic, onions and olive oil, and the tasty food, takes you away to Italy, if only for a moment. A great moment...
