Soapmaking Workshop 101: The Basics
Learn to make your own cold process soap loaf in this beginner-friendly workshop in Redlands on October 17.
New to soapmaking? Our beginner's Soapmaking 101 workshop is perfect for you! We'll teach you to make a cold process soap loaf that you'll take home with you. You will get the recipe, get to customize your loaf, and all the information to feel confident making your own soap at home. This starter workshop is a prerequisite to our Soapmaking 201 workshop "Colors and Swirls."
Please register early as classes fill quickly. Please arrive 10–15 minutes before the class to get situated. All registrants for cold process soapmaking must be at least 18 years old. No children or pets allowed.
How to Prepare: Feel free to bring a reusable water bottle. However, you may not bring in food or drinks, as we will be working with lye. We will provide a snack for you. Please wear close-toed shoes and clothing that covers your arms and legs. You do not need to bring any equipment — we will provide it for you.
Cancellation Policy: You will receive a full refund if the workshop is canceled. Your registration is non-refundable if you cancel less than 72 hours before the class. You may choose to have someone take your place. Please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot refund because you enrolled in an incorrect class.
