Redlands Art Walk
This Friday night State Street will once again be humming to the lively melodies of the musicians who play as part of Experience Redlands @ Night. This week’s Friday’s concerts will be enhanced by artwork created by local artists, which will be on display up and down State Street. The Salon, a group of Redlands artists, will present an Art Walk from 6:30 to 8:30 in the evening.
Featured artists include Jenny Stevning, Josh Harwood, and Deb Austin-Brecher. Ross Thrasher and Chloe Villanueva, both Redlands High School students, are also featured in this month’s Art Walk. Theresa Van Ornum, a Redlands artist, has created Paperboli Designs exclusively for J. D. Myers, and there will be a reception at the State Street store in her honor on Friday night from 5 to 8 p.m.
The Salon is a fledgling group dedicated to exploring the creative process. It is made up of multigenerational artists with varying degrees of experience and training. The group assembles once a month to discuss each other’s creative journeys and are planning to do group art projects.
