How will you Serve Your Holiday Meals?

The Holidays are just around the corner – How will you Serve Your Holidays Meals?

There are traditionally three different styles of meal service:

Buffet: Dishes are set up in lines and guests move through the lines to serve themselves. Buffets are great when you want to offer your guests a wider variety of food choices. Buffets also make seating at multiple tables easier.

Plated Service: This calls for individual plates of food served to each guest, much like a restaurant. Individual plates can make your event more elegant. However they do require serving staff, which is not always feasible at home.

Family Style Service: Large platters and bowls of food are set on the table(s) and guest served themselves by passing the food around the table. This is what we often see at a traditional Thanksgiving table.

At Tennessee Gardens we offer all three styles of meal service when you host your event here.
The most popular is our buffets, we can create an elaborate buffet from anywhere around the world. Our rule about buffets is simple, no more than 50 guest per buffet; this means if you are having 150 guests we will set up 3 different buffets. Also with our double sided buffets you actually never have more than 25 people per line. This makes the experience for your guest more enjoyable.

Using plated service we can create a special meal for your guests. You can still offer choices by adding a meal choice card in with your RSVP. We will then help you organize the event so servers will know what choice has been made by your guest.

Not used often is Family Style Service. There are many benefits however, this service is about making each table comfortable and promotes conversation. For some it is an experience well over due.

We here at Tennessee Gardens have so much to be grateful for, we hope you and your families have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
