Spiritual Direction with Sally Burton

Spiritual Direction is a practice where time is intentionally set aside to contemplate how and where God is moving or present in your life. This is done in companionship with someone who is trained in the practice of holy listening, discernment and thinking about the sacred in our ordinary lives.

Rev. Dr. Sally Burton is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ. After serving a United Church of Christ congregation as a co-pastor for nine years, she is now specializing in Spiritual Direction. She graduated from Claremont School of Theology (M.Div 2008 and D.Min 2014) and received a certificate of completed training in Spiritual Direction from the Hesychia School of Spiritual Direction (2018).

Dr. Burton is open and affirming towards LGBTQ persons, and religious or non religious persons. Anyone who is seeking a deeper relationship with the Divine or a soul companion for noticing the sacred within our ordinary lives is welcome to seek Spiritual Direction. Sessions are typically once a month for one hour, but are open to adjustment. Confidentiality is honored; your story is sacred.
