You can Do It Yourself Non Surgical Bust Lift and Tummy Tuck
Question: All my life I have had saggy breasts and a poochy tummy. Now, after having children, it’s even worse. Is there any help for that?
Mimi: Absolutely. The main cause of droopy breasts and a protruding tummy is bad posture. Your grandma was right when she said, “Suck in your stomach.” And grandpa was right when he said, “Stand up straight.”
To stand straight, start with your feet planted firmly on the ground. Slightly bend your knees. Tilt your pelvis with the pubis thrust slightly forward and the buttocks tucked under. This is the position that your ballet teacher insisted on. It will feel awkward if you aren’t used to it. Now pull your tummy UP, not just in. Imagine sucking your belly button all the way to your backbone.
There are many exercises that will help strengthen your core so that your abdomen and back muscles can hold you straight and firm.
Next, imagine a string tied to your sternum or breastbone. In your mind’s eye, hook it to the ceiling and pull up. This will lift your chest and pull your rib cage up away from your waist. Instantly, your waist will be smaller.
Round your shoulders forward then pull them up toward your ears. This may be the position that you hold when you are using the computer. Deliberately push your shoulders back and down. You will feel a “crack” between your shoulder blades.
Now straighten your legs. You feel like a wooden soldier. Hold your head high as though you were dangling from a string.
Look in the mirror. Your bust is high, your waist is smaller, and your fanny isn’t drooping. Several times a day, do this exercise. Slowly, you will feel what is correct. Whenever you want to lift and tuck, you can do it.
If you are large busted or over 40, invest in really good bras. Even the most expensive dress will look crummy over a cheap, saggy bra.
