Portugal – Beaches, Music, Monuments, Wine!
by Lynda Schauf of Laura's Travel Services IncPortugal, a destination not often thought about is appropriate for the cost conscience traveler. Vacations Close to Home
by Mimi Barre of International Day SpaQuestion: I need a vacation but can’t afford to go anywhere.
Mimi: Simple. Vacation at home. Remember the sun block and have a super summer.
Demand drives up prices. When we stop using so much gasoline, the price should drop. So let’s stay close to home for our summer vacation. Instead of an exotic island, let’s sip tropical drinks in our own back yards. Have potluck dinners. If you have a pool, invite the gang over (ask each to bring something; the cost of maintaining the pool is your contribution). Go to the movies to stay cool.
